This fantasy roleplay hands you a kingdom on the edge of collapse and asks one question: save it or burn it? A dragon has woken in the northern peaks. The king is dying and his heirs are already sharpening their knives. Somewhere in a forgotten library is a spell that could fix everything, or end it.

You play the lead, and the AI writes each scene around your choices in real time. Swear fealty, betray your mentor, bargain with the dragon instead of fighting it, or type something no quest designer would have planned for. The game tracks Magic, Renown and Vitality. Magic is your arcane power, Renown decides whether lords open their gates or bar them, and Vitality keeps you alive; if it hits zero, your legend ends there.

It's an epic built chapter by chapter, with an inventory you actually carry, companions who remember how you treated them and a world that keeps track of what you've done. Start from a ready-made hero, forge your own character, or describe your own realm in Freeform mode. When the epic is finished, you can publish it to the public library for others to read.

Epic Fantasy: questions players ask

What is AI fantasy roleplay?

It's a fantasy adventure where you play the hero and an AI acts as storyteller, writing each scene around what you decide. Unlike an open-ended chat, Plotwarp runs it as a game: you have stats, an inventory, companions, chapters and story memory, and your stats decide whether a sword swing or a spell actually works.

Is it like Dungeons & Dragons with an AI game master?

It's similar in spirit: you describe what your character does and the storyteller tells you what happens. There are no rulebooks or dice tables to learn. Your Magic, Renown and Vitality do that job, and the game tracks what you carry and who you've met. It's a solo game, so you're the whole party.

Can I play a villain?

Yes. The kingdom is worth saving or burning, and both are valid paths. You can scheme for the throne, side with the dragon or betray the order that trained you. The story follows your lead, and side characters react to who you've become, so expect enemies and the occasional unlikely ally.

Can I create my own fantasy character?

You can create your own character with a name, look and personality and drop them into any fantasy starter story, from a disgraced knight to a hedge witch with a grudge. Or use Freeform mode to describe your own world, magic system and all, and let the AI build the adventure around it.
