This sci-fi text adventure starts with the hull alarms already going. You might be a salvage pilot who boarded the wrong derelict, a colony engineer watching the life support numbers drop, or a smuggler whose cargo has started talking back. Deep space doesn't care about your plans, and the AI writes what happens when you try anyway.
Type anything a text adventure would let you do, and plenty it wouldn't: reroute auxiliary power, hack the docking AI, bluff a customs officer with a forged manifest, or vent the cargo bay with the creature still inside. Or pick a suggested choice when you'd rather move fast. The game tracks Vitality, Tech and Energy. Tech covers machines, hacking and future gear. Energy is how much you have left to give. Vitality keeps you breathing, and if it hits zero, the run is over.
Crew members, inventory and past decisions carry forward. The android you lied to in chapter one may still be running the airlock in chapter four. Play a ready-made protagonist or create your own spacer, and read in Balanced or Snappy style.

Sci-Fi: questions players ask
What is a sci-fi text adventure?
It's a science fiction story you play by reading and acting in text. Classic text adventures needed exact commands; on Plotwarp an AI understands plain language and writes each turn in real time, so creative solutions are fair game. You still get structure: stats, inventory, chapters and a story that remembers what you've done.
Is it like Zork or classic interactive fiction, but in space?
In spirit, yes: you read, decide and type. The difference is that nothing is pre-written. There's no hidden list of accepted verbs and no fixed map to exhaust. The AI responds to what you actually write, while the game keeps track of your stats, items and crew relationships across chapters.
Can I die in space?
Yes. Vitality is your vital stat, and if it reaches zero the run can end. Your stats also decide whether what you attempt works, so a risky hack with low Tech can fail at the worst possible moment. Space is supposed to be dangerous, and here it actually is.
Can I build my own sci-fi setting?
You can. Create your own character with a name, look and personality and play them in any sci-fi starter story, or use Freeform mode to describe your own universe: a generation ship, a cyberpunk megacity, a first-contact mission gone sideways. The AI writes around whatever world you set up.
