This vampire roleplay is set in a city that insists none of it is real. The police write off the bodies as overdoses. The witch who runs the bookstore on Ninth keeps her blinds down. The hunters carry badges, or something like them. And you, newly turned or newly aware, just found out the hard way.
Each turn you pick a suggested choice or type your own: feed or starve, join a coven or stay on your own, take a hunter's deal or turn on the one who sired you. The AI writes each scene around your choice, and the game tracks three stats. Occult measures your grip on the hidden world: spells, rituals, secret names. Humanity is what's left of the person you used to be, and every compromise costs some. Vitality keeps you standing, and if it hits zero, your story can end.
Play a vampire, a witch, a hunter or a very unlucky human. The game remembers your alliances and the debts you owe, so the favor you took from the coven in chapter one comes due later. Start from a ready-made story or create your own character.

Vampires / Urban Fantasy: questions players ask
What is vampire roleplay?
It's an interactive story where you play a character in a world of vampires, often as one of them. On Plotwarp these stories are urban fantasy: vampires, witches and hunters hiding in a modern city. An AI writes each turn around your choices, and the game tracks Humanity, Occult and Vitality, so hunger and power come with a cost.
What is urban fantasy?
Urban fantasy puts magic and monsters into the modern world: a vampire in a corporate tower, a witch running a pawn shop, a hunter with a day job. It's the genre of hidden societies and secrets kept from everyone else. On Plotwarp you play inside one, with the city reacting to everything you do.
Do I have to play a vampire?
No. You can be a witch, a hunter, a vampire or an ordinary person who saw something they shouldn't have. Create your own character with a name, look and personality, or start from a ready-made protagonist. Each role brings different enemies, allies and temptations.
What happens if I lose my Humanity?
Humanity tracks how much of your old self survives. As it slips, the story reflects it: old friends notice, and the line between you and the monsters gets thinner. Stats shape whether what you try works, and Vitality is the one that can end the run, but Humanity shapes who you are when you get there.
